Citizens Of Humanity Pop-Up Concession
Denim Brand Opens Space At Harvey Nichols
Citizens of Humanity’s newest menswear concession marks a number of firsts for the denim brand.
The outlet, housed in premium department store Harvey Nichols, is the first to take stock of a collection from the label since rebranding under Creative Director Simon Miller.
It is also the first pop-up of its kind from the firm to include non-denim pieces such as shirts and hoodies.
AW14 will be Miller’s debut range for Citizens of Humanity. The New Zealand born designer was appointed in 2013, having pledged to “renew” the label’s identity.
Jeans come in a number of washes and cuts, including a new take the five-pocket slim leg, with show bosses keen to maintain the original focus despite the expansion.
Following the launch in London, Key International Accounts Manager Katie Morrison said:“Harvey Nichols is the longest established stockist of the men’s collections, so we wanted to work with them on an exclusive pre-launch. The product is so strong, and we love the way the pop-up space looks in the store.”
In addition to the first-look, Harvey Nichols has also bought exclusive rights to a denim jacket and pair of jeans from the line, a deal which will run until autumn.
The concession will remain in place at Harvey Nichols for two weeks, until a sale begins on the weekend of 21st June.
The AW14 menswear collection, priced between £200 and £300, will then roll out in other stockists including Harrods from July.
